Description

val-v1 · The multiples 1.6×, 2×, 3×, 5×, 8×, 13×, 21× are the published Fibonacci-derived constants, repeated as published and NOT refitted — refitting a folklore level and calling the result a finding is worse than repeating it with the provenance attached. There is no mechanism behind them. The percentile beside them is the honest counterpart: where today's multiple sits in this asset's own expanding record, computed without any data from after each date.

How to read it

0.64× its 350-day average · 19th percentile of this asset's own record

Every value plotted for a past date could have been computed on that date. Normalised series expand their window rather than scaling against the full history, so nothing here is drawn using information that did not exist yet — which is also why the early years of a normalised series are dropped rather than shown against a range of one.
